A recently announced crypto exchange platform, ErisX, hired a dream
A recently announced crypto exchange platform, ErisX, hired a dream team prior to their upcoming launch, which is set for later this year. ErisX, along with assembling a team of top tier talent, also has the backing and support of Nasdaq as well as Fidelity Investments.
As indicated by a press release from Business Wire, the cryptocurrency exchange has added 3 new members to their ErisX team. The members include Robert Thrash as COO, Arnold Connel as Head of Infrastructure, and John Denza as a Business Development Executive.
Robert Thrash shared his thoughts for joining the team as well as what ErisX is setting to accomplish by assembling this new team –
“ErisX has assembled an impressive team of experts to build the most robust, secure and regulated digital asset platform. Leveraging intermediary relationships and their diverse group of investors, ErisX will help both institutional and individual participants access these markets.”
ErisX chose these people carefully for making a team of industry heavyweights. Robert Thrash’s experience incorporates a 12 year career in the financial space, execution service, prime brokerage and trading. His last position in the industry was a Managing Director and Global head of Futures Execution Services and Clearing Platform Management at Barclays Investment Bank.
Connell’s background varies from the financial intensive background that Thrash has, though his expertise is still crucial to the operation of ErisX. Connell has made himself recognized from his various roles from his 9 years that he spent at the tech giant Google. He is credited being one of the original creators of YouTubeTV too.
Just like that of Thrash’s, John Denza’s experience is more along the same lines, coming from a financial technology background. Previously, Denza has worked as a Director at Pico Quantitative Trading. Also, he has spent 10 years working as a Director of US Sales Equities and Derivatives at BATS Global Markets/CBOE.
