The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance has opened a regional branch in China and they have recently revealed this information to the public.
The branch will be led by Dr. Weijia Zhang, Wanchain’s Vice President of Engineering. She will now assume the responsibility as the EEA’s head officer.
This branch will put EEA more out there and use the company’s strengths to acquire more business. It promotes the high quality service it provides. The EEA says:
As part of our efforts to accelerate the global adoption of Enterprise Ethereum standards and associated certification programs, the EEA has opened regional offices in Japan, Korea, and China, as part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to provide local support to members around the globe.
For each office, we identify an accomplished individual who is passionate about blockchain for the benefit of everyone.
Zhang will be expected to participate in any and all activities that promote EEA’s standards, starting from local hackathons, conferences and meetings.
Zhang is more than qualified to run this branch, with her years of experience in blockchain, cognitive sciences, computational fluid dynamics, software modeling, computer technologies, and industrial standards. She says:
There has never been a more challenging and exciting time to be in blockchain technology. The progress we are seeing across the industry is very promising, and the EEA’s leadership around blockchain standardization and adoption are paramount. I look forward to working with the EEA in China, to aid in bringing value to enterprises by utilizing EEA standards, working groups and resources.
Clearly there are big things in store for this new branch in China and we hope it carries EEA’s mission forward to bring developments in the blockchain space.
