NITI Aayog, the Government’s premier policy making body when it comes to entrepreneurship and technology mission, has taken blockchain as a serious technological advancement for quite some time now. Word in February was that NITI Aayog was working on a national strategy for blockchain which would look into possible avenues where this technology could be imlemented in India.

Mr. Kant has spoken at numerous public occasions about how important blockchain as a technology is. This came especially after finance minister Arun Jaitley delegated to Aayog the responsibility about preparing a roadmap for blockchain in his Budget 2018-19.

Blockchain technology can eliminate the 3 crore cases pending in Courts in India & wipe out the 40 Lakh cases relating to land & land disputes. Land registry on the Blockchain will reduce litigation & knock out corruption related to land.
